How do you sum yourself up? What are your defining characteristics? Language restricts this exponentially. Ultimately, a short introduction will never allow you to know the real me. To be honest, I don’t know my complete story yet, no one does. But through my journey in this world I have earned a few titles.
Daughter, to four amazing supportive and loving parents.
Sister, to my amazing brothers and sisters.
Mother, to my three beautiful children. (this year 17, 9 and 2)(2024 – 20, 12 and 5) My greatest accomplishments are my children. They challenge (emphasis on challenge) me daily. But the love of a child is indescribable. I’m grateful to be their Momma and that they each came into my life exactly when they were supposed to.
Wife, to an OUTSTANDING Man. A man that didn’t come into my life until I hit the big 30. A man that people say I am lucky to have. But, it’s not about luck. It’s about loving yourself first and the right person will come into your life. It took me a while to realize that settling for less than what you deserve will ultimately come out in the wash. Disclaimer – not without my fair share of heartache. Nonetheless, I am blessed with family, immediate and extended. I am grateful everyday for the health and support within my little village.
Graduate, I am a constant student in this life. Learning how to navigate what my path has in store.
Welding Technologist. As a teen Mom, I needed to find a career that would support myself and my daughter. But STEMed though enjoyment. I am a firm believer in doing what you love, or find interesting. Doing so, will enrich your experiences. I choose to walk a path that engages, one that has flexibility. Knowing that helps guide me through. That said, I was first introduced to welding when my eldest daughter was two. I made the choice to go to college because at that time, in my mind, she deserved more than what I could give her. I have since learned that I deserved it too. But, she was my motivation. I enrolled in a general program and happened upon welding through the community I found at school. Since then, I’ve had the pleasure to share my passion of welding, engineering, trades and technology to many. One of my favourite things, is to engage in welding workshops with youth or anyone interested really. Allowing a person to explore what kind of opportunities this world has to offer is very fulfilling. Even if they find, that it is not for them, a better understanding to where their path might lead is priceless.
There is so much more to me and the labels listed above. I am looking forward to exploring my past, present and future with you as it comes to pass.

Translate;
How do you describe or choose to express experiences?
What are your words of choice?
I believe that language restricts the potential of describing situations or experiences that are shared.
Words will always restrict when trying to express an emotional response.
But with this restriction, I refuse to sit silent.
For so long exterior influences have directed my decisions on coming out into the world of this new media that has been developing around us.
I’ve faced many restrictions on the journey, I wouldn’t be where I am without them.
With this I will do my best in translating.
