One more is never enough…

As we head out of Thanksgiving weekend we want to take a moment to be thankful for all the light and dark that has fallen upon our paths. For the light is filled with love, joy, happiness, togetherness gratitude and so much more.
Where the dark, is what really makes the light sparkle. 

The roller coaster of life, doesn’t know what fair is.
Doing good or bad doesn’t dictate fate…
It does however dictate narrative…
Legacy…
Many of the brightest stars emerge from the darkest places. 
So today I am grateful for the dark as it helps to guide and shine the lights brighter. 

But that gratitude doesn’t replace the hurt. The pain that this world feels upon the loss of the irreplaceable. We often search for reasons to try and explain away the pain. 

We search for reasoning through words such as
“in a better place” or “pain and suffering is over.” 
Perhaps that serves in some healing.
But the truth is, there is a puzzle piece missing.
A void that is impossible to fill.
A place that will sometimes make you smile from the love and light of the one who created it.
But also is filled with the longing, for the “just one mores….”
