Months ago I was inspired to write something unique about myself using colour and my design. Below is a short passage of a combination of words from then and now. As sometimes, my work starts to take shape months before publishing. I also want to take a moment to point out the influence my career has on my vocabulary and choice of words. There is not one thing that is solely unique about me. But the combination of the individual pieces are My Uniqueness, the light that exudes. A bright white light that comprises every colour of the rainbow.
Red, my passion and fiery drive…
Orange, the health to help me survive…
Yellow, the courage to spread beautiful light…
Green, the heart and cuddles so tight…
Blue, a voice of equality bestowed…
Indigo, keeping the perspective load…
Violet, understanding, enlightening, anode…

P.S. This week has been trying, not for any particular reason. But for a combination of all the little things, that can add up to overwhelming. This piece is a reminder of the light, the opposite that also lives within us. That darkness does not exist without its counterpart of light. So if you’re feeling particularly dark, know there’s brighter days ahead, it’s already within you.
